Pinnacle Oak exists to represent a portfolio of oak barrels that perform at the very top of the wine industry. As the exclusive agents for Famille Sylvain across Australia, we have a range of barrels, foudres and vats that suit all wine varieties across all wine regions.
Supporting the high performance of these barrels is a level of professional service to match. With many years of experience working with winemakers and the Sylvain cooperages, we will assistant in barrel selection, and ensure your barrels arrive with a minimum of fuss.
About Andrew
Andrew Munro, Founding Director of Pinnacle Oak, bridges the gap between discerning wineries and Famille Sylvain's premium French oak barrels. His deep understanding of oak's influence on wine empowers wineries to choose the very best barrels from the wide portfolio of options.
Beyond product expertise, Andrew fosters strong relationships and provides exceptional service throughout the selection process, ensuring a seamless experience for wineries to focus on their passion. When not connecting wineries with exceptional oak, you might find Andrew enjoying wines at East End Cellars with friends or family, tasting wine at a local cellar door, or on holidays… likely in a winegrowing are.
About Vanessa
Vanessa Sparapani has over 20 years’ experience in the wine and spirits industry. Her background covers the production and sales of wine and spirit barrels (new and used), wine bottling and closures. She loves looking strategically at what customers are currently doing and how she can add value.
Vanessa has been involved with the Famille Sylvain cooperages for around 10 years. During this time, she has developed a deep understanding of the cooperages, their people, and their products. Additionally, Vanessa has worked extensively with the importation and distribution of barrels meaning that Pinnacle oak products arrive on time with a minimum of fuss.
